Turin has long been one of my favourite cities in Italy, distinguished by its alluring blend of Baroque, Renaissance, Neoclassical and Art Nouveau architecture as well as it's French influenced cuisine and culture.
It continually surprises me that this exquisite city remains largely off the international tourist radar.
Last autumn, I had the opportunity to visit the remarkable Lavazza Museum during my stay in Turin.
Conveniently located just a short tram ride from the Torino Porta Nuova train station, this museum offers a fascinating glimpse into both the local and global culture and history of coffee.
The experience is immersive and educational, showcasing the innovative design of the museum which celebrates the 120-year legacy of the Lavazza family in Turin.
The Lavazza Headquarters and campus, designed by Cino Zucchi Architects, has garnered numerous awards for its innovative concept and design. The chic campus incorporates a museum, cafeteria, shop, offices, recreational area, gourmet restaurant, and design school, seamlessly blending functionality with style.
